BIG UPDATE!
First things first, I did some voice over work for a podcast called, “The Disappearance of Olivia Perry.” As actors, we first and foremost do roles like this on our way up the ladder to get footage for our reels. Next down the list is a wish, “Please don’t suck.”
Oh Lordy. I am not just an FBI agent in this podcast (I got to yell, “FBI GET ON THE GROUND!!!”, it was awesome), I’m a fan! I started listening just to hear my part and then get through it so that I could at least talk about the story (spoiler free), but man oh man, I RIPPED through the first three episodes and eagerly awaited the final two!
The ending did not disappoint, and even though I’m part of the ending, this amazing story still had plenty of twists I did NOT see coming! I am going to give it a few months, then, after my kids go to sleep, sit out in my back yard with some scotch and marathon the whole thing!
Next up, I voiced a ghoul masquerading as a boy’s father in the short film, “Midnight Monster.” It was a fun role to play the villain! Here’s a clip!
I played a campus police officer in the incredible short film, “For the Taking.” Once again, I had read the script but was not nearly prepared for this picture’s power. I’m very proud to be a part of it. Here it is!
In Film Festival News, my short film script, “Traitor,” as well as my feature script, “Dirty Girl From Hell,” and, of course, “Put Your F—king Phone Down,” have made it to the semi-final round at the Palm Springs Movie Festival! Also, “Put Your F—king Phone Down,” will be screening at the Marina del Rey Film Festival taking place from June 17-23, so let’s get ready to see some awesome films then party at Islands! “Dirty Girl From Hell,” will be in competition as well.
Finally, that’s a wrap on, “Journalism 101.” It premiered at the CSUN showcase and was greeted with plenty of laughs and applause! Then, at the CSUN film awards, we won some big ones! Check out my video diary below!
Playing John Ferrell was a real treat! Thank you to Mike and Leah for writing such a brilliant script, thank you to the crew for being so professional, and thank you to my partners in crime Hannah, Eren, Andre, Ryne, Leyna, and Erlene! You were so great to work with! Rock on!
More to come soon!
