MEET UP TONIGHT!!!!

My freshman year roommate (what up, Jon???), who is an Orthodox Jewish wonderful human being, taught me so much at Penn. Our Orthodox brothers & sisters have a wonderful tradition…from sundown Friday evening to Sundown Saturday evening….screens off (again SCREENS OFF), work done, pray, eat, pray, talk, be with family. This gentile respects that tradition so much.

Here we are (I am just as much guilty as you) addicted to our screens, being divided and conquered…but cinema continues, as do our lives.

ANYWAY.

“Put Your F--king Phone Down," has been accepted into the Silicon Beach Film Festival, playing at THE Chinese Theater!⁠⁠ Monday, October 4, 7:30 PM!

After all that, the thought that my little flick is gonna be playing at The Hollywood Chinese theater…it’s unreal. I am so grateful.

As the screening is at 7:30, I’m planning on a meet up at The Hollywood Roosevelt at the lobby bar beforehand around 6pm!⁠⁠ Come on by, have a drink and let’s celebrate some cinema (let’s talk about films you love!) in one of Hollywood’s most sacred grounds!

And AFTER my film screens, turns out, PLOT TWIST, my film will be playing as a short film before the premiere of THIS picture, just like the old school Cinema times of Hollywood!!!!:

The story: After throwing a job, an ex-Marine seeks refuge in a safe house where he is swarmed by mercenaries sent to kill him.

I was gonna go home after my screening…nope. Sticking around for this one. Can’t wait!
